Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect on my first visit?

At Harbor.City it is our goal to live in a way that reflects God’s love. We do this by preaching the Word of God, encouraging each other to grow, and challenging everyone to become leaders in their communities.

Upon your arrival, our welcome hosts will be glad to help direct you to facilities and answer any questions that may come up at that time.

What if the idea of visiting a church makes me nervous?

We know it can be difficult to find a new church so we invite you to come in, find a comfortable place to sit, and enjoy the service.

What about my children?

As a family church, we truly value everyone and believe it is never too early to begin a relationship with God.

We believe children are never too young to learn about the love of God and the power of Jesus. HC Kids services revolve around these principles.

Age groups: 2-5 years & K5 – 10 years

*All of our children’s teachers are church member volunteers who have undergone screening, background checks, and classroom specific training.

How should I dress?

During our weekend services, you will find people wearing everything from casual to business attire. Some people even show up in their work uniforms. We encourage you to wear whatever is convenient and you feel comfortable in!

What is a Sunday service like?

Our Sunday morning service includes a time of worship, a message, and a closing prayer. We take a few minutes for family business, such as greeting each other and announcements.

What is a worship like?

Worship is led by our amazing team every Sunday morning! You will find an array of current and classic praise and worship songs. During our time of worship, Pastor Michael invites you to meet with him for prayer concerning anything you may be believing for in life. We also invite everyone to visit our communion table setup at the back of the auditorium during worship.

What is the message like?

Pastor Michael delivers messages that are based on the Word of God. He shares relevant and biblical principles that challenge us to grow in our love walk with one another, our lives, and our faith.
